都城秋穂先生

都城秋穂先生が，公園を散策されている途中に亡くなられたとの連絡がありました．

居室の引っ越しの後片付けをしていて，荷物の中に都城先生の自筆原稿コピーを見つけたのが，３日前の水曜日でした．「変成岩と変成帯」は，今でも私の教科書です．合掌．（え）

Dear Friends of Miyashiro,

 I have the sad news to report that Akhio Miyashiro has died. He went missing from an evening walk in a local park near Albany NY on Tuesday and they found his body on Thursday.
